Their combined talents formed Finest Steel Stamp Company, which purchased Stylos Engraving in 1989. Stylos owner-operator Doug MacNeil soon brought his expertise in injection mold engraving to the team.
In 1992, after almost 50 years in the trade, Bill retired and the company moved its headquarters to Manchester, Connecticut. Barry and Doug continued to advance and upgrade the shop, including the newest addition of CNC machining capabilities.
In 1998, Finest purchased New England Stamp Co. of Portland, Connecticut and changed its name to Finest New England Stamp Co. A few years later, the name was changed again to Finest Engraving Inc and in 2008, the main shop was moved to Andover, Connecticut.
